Constitution of a Standing Committee on innovatives proposals in port sector
- There are eases where entrepreneur come up with Innovative proposals for creation of facilities at ports, which have not been conceived by the Port Trusts. In such cases. a decision needs to be taken as to how to proceed with such unsolicited innovative proposals. In order to evaluate such innovative proposals and to see whether they should be proceeded with. the following Standing Committee is hereby set up
- DA (Ports)
- Joint Secretary (Ports) or his nominee Member Director/DS of the Administrative Ministry to which such proposal may relate
- Chairman of the concerned Port Trust Member
- FA & CAO of the concerned Port Trust Member
- DA (Ports)
- The Committee may coopt any ocher member or invite special invitee(s) wherever necessary
- The terms of reference of the Committee will be as under:
- To act as a Secretariat to receive such innovative proposals
- To evaluate the proposal, and whether they may be proceeded with and give recommendations to the Empowered Committee.
